Jacory Benson

Bio

Coach Jacory Benson brings energy, experience, and a strong background in player development to the Daniel High School football staff. He was a standout running back at Seneca High School, where he still holds multiple rushing records. Benson’s success at Seneca established him as one of the program’s most explosive offensive players. He continued his playing career at South Carolina State, competing at the collegiate level and growing his understanding of the game. His time as a student-athlete strengthened his focus on discipline, work ethic, and fundamentals. Benson’s passion for coaching comes from his own experiences as a player and mentor. In 2025, he joined Daniel High School to help lead and develop the Lions’ run game. He is known for his ability to connect with players and bring out their best. Benson emphasizes toughness, technique, and accountability in everything he teaches. He is committed to helping young athletes succeed on and off the field and contributing to the continued success of Daniel football.
